Labor lasted 11 hours.

There were a few hours that were pretty intense,

but he is so worth it.

Chad was great every step of the way and

we had both of our moms there to share Ethan's birth.

Brittany and Jacob love him so much.

He was making a pouty face.

Ethan's name comes from the bible.

He was a cymbal player in King David's court

and he wrote Psalm 89.

We loved the name and thought it was perfect, since Chad is a drummer.

Ethan's middle name is after Chad's grandfather.

He is the perfect addition to our family.

We love you, Ethan!
